Northern Italy
OUR YEAR-ROUND DESTINATIONS

Piedmont
Gorgeous hilly landscape covered in vines, with a mountainous backdrop, in northwest Italy near the French border.
A gourmand's paradise with some of the best cuisine in Italy. Known for the world famous Barolo and Barbaresco wines and the Alba White Truffle, Piedmont also boasts UNESCO World Heritage vineyard landscape sites, and castles.

Valpolicella and Trentino-Alto Adige
Valpolicella is just north of Verona and known for Valpolicella, Amarone, and Soave Classico wines. Fruit trees and vegetation interspersed with the vineyards make for a beautiful landscape, and provide gorgeous cuisines to pair with the wines.
Trentino-Alto Adige is further north, at the edge of the Dolomite mountains and bordering Austria. It boasts many indigenous and international varieties, grown at higher altitudes, making a perfect backdrop for tastings. These 2 regions are undiscovered gems and definitely not to miss.

Lake Como and Valtellina
The dramatic and breathtaking Lake Como is known for significantly more than its most famous Hollywood villa owner. Enjoy everything from authentic and rustic venues to luxurious 5 star accommodations.
Valtellina is a stunning wine region with steep vineyards, just north of Lake Como. They produce elegant, structured and beautiful wines made with the Nebbiolo grape, the same grape used to produce the famous Barolos.
